It is quite hard to find value, luxuriousness and performance all dished up in a single car, but not with the Acura TSX. At a fraction of the cost of most other luxury vehicles, you'll get more than enough standard features and amenities in the Acura TSX. And with lightweight and very capable Acura TSX parts, the Acura TSX is bound to perform just like a real sports car.
The Acura TSX was first introduced in the North American automotive market for the 2004 model year, replacing the Acura Integra as the smallest sedan in the Acura vehicle line-up. It was based on the European and Japanese version of the Honda Accord, which was much smaller than the American version of the car and thus made it a suitable body for a sports sedan. The small size of the sedan also makes it fit to compete with other small luxury sedans like the BMW 3-Series and the Audi A4.
The powerful performance of the Acura TSX must be credited largely to the high quality Acura TSX performance parts it is equipped with. Among them is the vehicle's 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine that develops 200 hp of power and 166 lb-ft of torque, definitely more than what is needed to capably run a car of its size. This engine is coupled with a lightweight 6-speed manual transmission in magnesium casing, with a 5-speed automatic transmission unit with SportShift as a free option. Also enhancing the ride quality of the Acura TSX is the car's double wishbone front suspension and multi-link rear suspension set up.
Inside the Acura TSX, you'll find just the kind of luxuriousness you would expect from an Acura. Plush seats, dual climate control, finely laid out dashboard controls and instruments—all these come standard in the Acura TSX. The only option available is a DVD-based navigation system with voice recognition; all other luxury features are standard.
