Because of the rate increase of occurrences of accidents, many automakers have given priority to safety features of their vehicle makes. Automobiles are now often seen loaded with different safety parts and accessories that give more level of protection than before. If you will also notice, safety features not only serve a single purpose which is to provide protection and safety from unlikely incidents such as accidents. Many safety features serve now as accessories to the vehicle beautifying even more the vehicle while safety is assured. One of these is the vehicle lighting. Aside from the safety functions it conveys to the driver and other occupants/commuters of the roads, it also set something anew to the vehicle in terms of aesthetic appeal. Most of aftermarket and custom lighting would enhance the visual essence of the vehicle.
There are different vehicle lights that can be installed into the vehicle while some of these are came with the automobile already installed when the vehicle rolled out from the factory. Automobile lighting can also be categorized into two: those that provide better illumination to the driver such as headlights, auxiliary lighting, projector lights, fog lights, etc; and vehicle lights that provide visibility to the drivers ahead or behind such as the tail lights, backup flood lights, daytime running lights, rear-facing fog lights, etc. Other types of vehicle lights are dome lights, turn signal lights, third brake lights, warning light, hitch-mount brake light, perimeter lights, and/or side marker lights. The latter mentioned vehicle light is a light installed on the side of the fender or the quarter panel of the vehicle. Sometimes side marker lights could be mounted on the wraparound bumper.
Side marker lights are available for all makes and models like BMW.
