Experience the luxury and performance of a true driver's car. Get a
Cadillac CTS. Unveiled in 2003, the all-new CTS was Cadillac's
entry-level luxury sedan. It was originally motorized by a 3.2 liter V6
generating 220 horsepower. Cadillac CTS was built on General Motor's
new Sigma rear-wheel drive architecture with five-speed transmission,
either automatic or manual. It became a nominee for the North American
Car of the Year award for 2002 model year. CTS was designed for younger
drivers who prefer performance, agility and style. Among the handsome
aspects of the CTS is the rear three-quarter view with its interplay of
edges and spaces accented by the strong vertical taillights.
The 2004 CTS comes with two available power plants – the 255-horsepower
V6 and the 400-horsepower V8. Inside, CTS cabin's instrumentation has a
very European arrangement which means it has clear gauges. It offers
more interior space than some of its European competitors. The 2004 CTS
looks somewhat different from every angle. Its front appears
magnificent, with a strong confident eggcrate grille sweeping upward
and horizontal sharp headlamps loaded with two beams inside. The
handling of the 2003 CTS received plenty of praises and for this year,
it's made even better.
Cadillac CTS' 2005 edition could be aptly called the great American
sports sedan because of its sporty handling, thrilling acceleration and
great braking. For this model year, the CTS models are driven by a new
line-up of V6 engines aimed to be smooth, quiet and more powerful. This
engine comes with up to date features like variable-valve timing,
dual-overhead cams and four valves per cylinder. The new engine choices
for 2005 CTS includes VVT V6 engines, 2.8-liter V6 and a 3.6-liter V6.
The '05 CTS are offered with a host of standard equipments like
leather-trimmed upholstery, dual-zone climate control, power driver's
seat, driver information center, a seven-speaker sound system and
16-inch alloy wheels with all-season tires. Designed to offer driver
and passenger safety, the 2005 CTS is outfitted with traction control
and anti-lock brakes with brake proportioning as well as side impact
airbags, dual frontal airbags and side air curtains.
