Being one of the automotive industry’s top-notched automobile manufacturers, Chevrolet remains to be as consistent as ever when it comes to producing quality-made vehicles. Chevrolet cars exemplify a true blend of powerful performance, remarkable exterior appearance as well as luxurious interior features. Truly, Chevrolet became a sought after brand by hundreds of thousands of car buyers, aficionados and experts. One of Chevrolet’s talked about models is the Chevy Sprint.

The Chevrolet Sprint is formerly that of the Suzuki, labeled as Suzuki Swift. It had its first appearance in the year 1984 as a 1985 model in West Coast but three years after was replaced by the Geo Metro. The Chevy Sprint is described as a unique three-cylinder small car, and even becoming the smallest car to ever wear Bow Tie. The Suzuki-engineered minicar’s economy was extra ordinary remarkable becoming the fuel miser champ in the year 1986 upon the arrival of the “ER” with EPA rating of 55 mpg in the city and 60 mpg in the highway.

Amazingly, by the time that the Chevy Sprint received the recognition as a fuel miser champ, it was even a sporty limited production turbo version that is now considered as the predecessor and trend-setter of today’s growing sport compact car craze. We can’t deny the fact that the Chevy Sprint made an outstanding contribution in the sporting world of automobiles. Small as it is, the Sprint features a functional interior. Unlike other cars with not enough space, the Sprint has a pleasing and luxurious room, with door panels being covered in a cloth pattern, and supportive, comfortable and covered with fabric seats.

What the Chevy Sprint can deliver in terms of power is around 48 hp at 5, 100 rpm and a torque of 57 ft.-lbs. The Chevy Sprint is available in a 5-speed manual transmission. It is offered in two front-wheel drive trims – one as a two-door coupe and the other one as four-door sedan with the additional of the turbo coupe trim. For those who already got behind the steering wheels of the Chevy Sprint, they have this to say – a fairly powerful functional minicar with so much to offer!
