Eagle Vision
Eagle was a small division formed by Chrysler Corporation to market
high-end automobiles infused with highly advanced technological
applications to line up with luxury sports car but more affordable
ones. Eagle cars' plight in the industry did not take long and has to
come to an end when Chrysler did not. The public did not see it coming
because the demise of the Eagle division from Chrysler Corporation was
taken in subtlety much to the dismay of the many pools of Eagle
followers.
Unfortunately, the last season of Eagle brand of cars made it a
significant loss in the perspective of one's motorist's view. With the
minimal plight of the Eagle cars in the automotive industry, meager
product line of Eagle cars included models such as: Eagle Premier,
Eagle Medallion, Eagle Summit, Eagle Talon, Eagle Vista, Eagle 2000GTX,
and Eagle Vision. These vehicles were prominently marked with Eagle
logo, abandoning the Chrysler Corporation pentastar logo.
Eagle Vision survived production that started in 1993 and lasted until
1997. Its design was one that was not evidently applied with
superficiality because the idea was to offer these vehicles with
sophistication that would gave more to an international flavor. Its
body was devoid of more frills and ornamentation found on other cars
but artistically styled to reveal bodyside that remains the visual
appearance clean and straight forward. Eagle Vision cars belong to the
LH cars made by Chrysler Corporation surviving two generations. The
first generation used 3.3 L and 3.5 L Chrysler V6 and 4-speed automatic
transmission. Second generation was seen through with 2.6 L and 3.2 L
Chrysler V6 and the same 4-speed automatic transmission.
The last year of Eagle Vision received minor details for the two models
of Eagle Vision ESI and Eagle Vision TSI. Both were treated with
standard features such as power heated mirrors, additional Deep
Amethyst Pearlcoat paint, air conditioning system, power door locks and
windows, electronic speed control, electric rear window defroster. For
the TSI model, AutoStick System and four-wheel antilock brakes is
standard while the latter feature is an option for the ESI.
