Hummer H1
Hummer H1 proves to be the baddest yet toughest sports utility vehicle on the road but
nestles to be one of the most personal favorites of many, even the Hollywood stars.
Among them is California Governor, Arnold Schwarzenegger, who owns a lot of Hummer
vehicle series. Hummer H1 has been based from the Humvee or the High Mobility
Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV). Hummer H1 also has been referred to as the
AM General Hummer.
Hummer H1 was released in 1992 readily taking its toll in popularity rates. The
three common variants of these vehicles include a convertible-like soft top, a
four-door hard top pickup truck, and a station wagon body version. Some of the
less popular variants are the two-door pickup truck and a four-door slantback.
To date, Hummer H1 makes available five engine types and three kinds of automatic
transmission types. These combinations range from the 6.5 L Diesel/GM 4L80E 4-speed,
5.7 L Vortec 5700 gasoline V8 TBI/GM 4L80E 4-speed, 6.5 L turbo Diesel/GM 4L80E
4-speed, and 6.6 L Duramax LLY turbo Diesel/Allison 1000 5-speed which will be
incorporated into the 2006 model year.
A unique way of handling off-road and on-road circumstances is inherent in every
Hummer H1 vehicle. Its wide stance enables it to run through 30 inches of water,
climb to at least 22 inches ground steps, as well as increase and decrease the
faced tire pressure at its own command. No wonder Hummer H1s are able to do things
miraculously because of its tucking driveline component designs.
Overall, Hummer H1s are tough, and excellent vehicles. In terms of the
brakes, differentials, frames, hood, tailgate, quarter panels, interior features,
and all of its assembly lines, Hummer H1s get a thumbs up from all users and critics.
When a good buy for a good model crosses your mind, Hummer H1 is a good choice.
