Infiniti QX4
In an ever-increasing number of sport-utility vehicles that are coming out to join the already large production that went through over the years since its functionality and practicality were discovered and experienced by many of the enthusiasts, Infiniti tried luck and plunged into the business to seek their niche in suv segment of the industry. In the form of Infiniti QX4, this mission was realized easily by bringing in these sport-utility vehicles into the scene. Infiniti QX4 is a premium midsized sport-utility vehicle entered into the luxury automobile division. This sport-utility vehicle model was basically a Nissan Pathfinder platform-based which also donned the same mechanical specifications. The only difference lies on the more advanced four-wheel drive system and an upscale interior feature.
In every sense of luxury sport-utility vehicle, Infiniti QX4 possess all the essentials of being one. Equipped with high-end technologies, these vehicles exude an aura that is more than pleasing and satisfying to the eye. Some of the highlights included leather upholstery and a wood-tone trim interior. There are endless list for features but the most impressive is the innovation of the GPS navigation system which proved more handy for the situations encountered during the drive. The navigation system is a very well designed apparatus for the vehicle which operates to guide the driver to his destination and completed with different menus that can live up to every customer's expectations.
Even with the luxury details loaded, these vehicles portray another role in the automotive activities being quite capable to tackle the unevenness of the off-road because of the ground clearance and the low range four-wheel drive system. A lone powertrain was offered with 3.3-liter V6 engine that produces 168-hp and the 4-speed automatic transmission. During the succeeding years from 1997 that Infiniti QX4 was produced, there are major changes that occurred into the vehicle and each time will gain another level of exterior and interior enhancement. However, in 2003, Infiniti QX4 ended its production to give way into yet another innovation from Infiniti but this time with a full sized version: Infiniti QX56.
