Isuzu Motors Ltd. products, them coming from a Japanese-based company are expected to exhibit certain level of automotive-caliber and standard known to co-Japanese car makers. Amigo, Ascender, Axiom, Hombre, Impulse, Oasis, Pickup, Rodeo, Stylus, Trooper, Vehicross and I-mark are just some of the Isuzu prides as an automobile manufacturer. The Isuzu I-Mark is compact car, an automobile smaller than mid-size cars but larger than subcompact cars. Compact cars' wheelbases and interior volumes range from 2.54 meters or 100 inches and 2.67 meters or 5 inches longer, and 100 cubic-feet or 2800 liters and 109 cubic-feet or 200 liters more.
The Isuzu I-Mark flourished the automotive market from 1981 until 1989 and if you get to notice some familiar features and a seemingly seen appearance with it then you are just in the perfect track. The Isuzu I-mark is in fact a rebadged Isuzu Gemini that was produced and sold from 1974 through 2000. With a few minor changes and additional features, Isuzu was able to give a new personality to the Gemini in the form of I-Mark. The Isuzu I-Mark is divided into two generations referred to as first and second generation which existed from 1981until 1984 and from 1985 until 1989 respectively.
During the period of the first generation I-Marks, no significant changes were made but during the period of the second generation, it was updated for with front-wheel drive based on General Motors' P platform which was used in four distinct vehicle lines. I-Marks are being offered either one having a 3-speed automatic or one having a 5-speed manual transmission. Available engines for the second generation I-Marks are the 1.5-liter, I4, 70-horsepower, 82 ft. lb torque, the 1.5-liter I4, turbo, 110 horsepower, 120 lb. ft. torque, and the 1.6-liter, I4, 125 horsepower, 106 lb. ft. torque engines.
