As a 1995 model, the Mazda Millenia was introduced to the public. For about eight decades and a half, the Mazda Motor Corporation has been constantly producing huge number of cars of around 800, 000 automobiles a year and each one them bears the Mazda vehicle trademark – quality and performance combined. With the coming of the Mazda Milllenia, the Mazda Corporation is expecting a big sale because of the vehcile’s innovative 2.25L Miller Cycle, V6 engine that powers up a four-stroke internal combustion engine type. However, fate for the Mazda Millenia turned the other way around as its production ceased by the year 2003.
The Mazda Millenia is a midsize luxury car that is being offered in three distinct versions and these are the Base, the Base with Leather interior, which both model are equipped with a 170-horsepower, 2.5-liter V6 engine, and the top of the line S model which is outfitted with a supercharged 210-horsepower, 2.3-liter, V6 engine. All models carry a 4-speed automatic transmission, dual airbags, antilock brakes, and automatic climate control as standard features. Year after year, the Mazda Millenia went through major and minor changes.
For its second manufacturing season, only minor changes were made, followed by new broader and brighter coverage reflector headlights, with the Base and L models received numerically higher final-drive gearing for improved low-end performance, followed by coming back of the vital rerun for ’98 model. The next change was a price cut off and revised grille and tail appearances, new wood and chrome trim inside, and one-inch larger wheels, followed by a standard remote keyless entry and a lighted ignition switch was installed, and steering-gear revisions aimed to improve handling stability. Additional standard features for the Mazda Millenia are front side airbags and altered front and rear styling and new power-lumbar driver's seat, leather-wrapped shift knob, new center console, and 2-tone trim. And as the Millenia is coming to its end, no significant changes were made.
Nevertheless, the Mazda Milllenia proved its worth by earning a reputation of being top-notched automobile that is capable of showcasing a new standard for value, design, function and quality, not to mention its smooth exterior feature that makes it distinct from the rest!
