of Pontiac automobiles, one of General Motors’ established brands to
provide consumers with different line of vehicles that arranged options
to those who cannot afford luxury cars and up level vehicles but would
still give them manifestation of quality and aggressive nature
equivalent with the aforementioned class of vehicles. When Pontiac
automobiles arrived into the automotive scene, it was a relief to major
members of the society when these were advertised as vehicles intended
to fill the gap between luxury automobiles and more affordable cars.
The commencement of midlevel automobiles from General Motors proved to
be an outstanding mission from the automobiles company as up until now
Pontiac's exceptional participation in the industry is still evident
from the contemporary Pontiac models. This is basically to uphold what
General Motors has begun more than 90 years ago. And from the continual
patronage of the consumers to Pontiac automobiles and services, Pontiac
automaker would not stop in formulating innovative techniques and
development strategies for a well-advanced quality future Pontiac
vehicles to arrive in the new modern age of automotive industry.
Pontiac models range with different lines of vehicles that were
noted with intensive application of bold and intricate designs on par
with excellent performance in the industry. Each Pontiac vehicle exudes
unique character and distinction because each model is teeming with
application of carefully developed technical and mechanical aspects.
One of these Pontiac's well-remembered automobile was the Pontiac
Grandville which was introduced in the year 1971, a "B" body offered
with initial choices of Pontiac Grandville convertible, Pontiac
Grandville 2-door hardtops, and Pontiac Grandville 4-door hardtops.
Production of Pontiac Grandville 4-door hardtop outweighed the number
of production for other Pontiac Grandville models. Convertible was
produced with the least number.
Production for the following years increased in volume attesting only
to the fact that Pontiac Grandville was indeed a brilliant concept of
cars as consumers demands increased. 1974 Pontiac Grandville production
declined but this time another sought-after type of Pontiac Grandville
was added into the line: the Pontiac Grandville Safari, a Pontiac wagon
version.
