Saab stands for “Svenska Aeroplan Aktiebolaget\" (Swedish Airplane
Company). Perhaps, you may ask, why an airplane company? It is because
originally, Saab made airplanes, before they made cars. In fact, the
very first Saab car which is the Saab 92, was designed and hand built
by seventeen (17) aeronautical engineers. And what’s more amazing is
that only one of these aeronautical engineers have a driver’s license.
Amusing as it sounds, this anecdote sums up all that makes Saab
exceptional. When it comes to cleanliness, cutting-edge technolgy,

Saab
is a Swedish automobile maker and now owned by General Motors. General
motors bought half of Saab automobile with an idea to get the entire
company within ten years. But prior to exercising that idea, General
Motors shared its ownership of Saab Automobile with the major owner of
Saab, Investor AB. And later on, General Motors officially acquired the
entire company. Now that they are under General Motors, they cars are
seemingly upgraded and infused with the best specifications and
features that no one would refuse to.
After the Saab 92, Saab has continually manufactured a lot more of cars
that are all equipped with astounding features like aerodynamic designs
and groundbreaking technology, which is beyond your expectations. The
entire lineup of Saab cars includes an AWD, a sedan and a sports sedan,
a convertible, a sports wagon, and an SUV. This array of Saab vehicles
is just perfect for people who want to be different and unique in their
own ways. Plus they are available worldwide so you’ll never have to
worry owning one of Saab cars. Their current models 9-3 and 9-5 are
both being manufactured in Trollhattan, Sweden. The Saab 92-X is
manufactured in Japan. In the United States, it is the Saab 9-7X SUV.
And can you believe that in 1987, Saab made a TV advertisement? Yes,
Saab displayed incredible stunts done by stunt drivers all on a closed
airport runway with classical music on background.
