with 2.4 Liter Inline-4 engines or the 2.7 Inline-4; a 3.5 Liter V6 engine was
also available. Transmissions available are 4-speed automatic and 5-speed automatic.
The Tacoma came in with an all-new design that offered driver-side airbag and
aggressive styling both in the interior and the exterior. The Tacoma also came
in with a redesigned chassis and suspension; a rack-and-pinion steering replaced
the recirculating ball system. Optional on all Tacoma models is the 4-wheel ABS
brakes.
The Toyota Tacoma came in almost packed with every equipment and feature a vehicle
