Known as the “People’s Car.” Volkswagen is one of
the most recognized auto makers in the world, having produced
remarkable vehicles that have not only played significant roles in the
lives of many people but have created an indelible mark in the history
of autos. One of its best known cars is the Volkswagen Beetle, one of
the best-selling and most popular cars in the world. Over 21 million
Volkswagen Beetles were produced during its production years. Although,
the old Beetle is no longer in production, you can still see it on the
roads today almost everywhere, which is proof enough of its toughness
and reliability.
Although much of Volkswagen’s prestige and popularity can be ascribed
to the legendary Beetle, Volkswagen also produced other top-notch autos
like the Volkswagen Golf, Volkswagen Passat and the Volkswagen Jetta.
As of 2003, the highest-selling Volkswagen make is the Volkswagen Golf.
Aside from its tested performance and highly dependable and tough parts
and components, Volkswagen is liked for its diverse style and
extraordinary features. Above all, every Volkswagen car affords its
users great driving and riding comfort that make your ride always
satisfying.
Volkswagen cars are designed not only to give auto
users efficient means of transportation but great comfort and
convenience, too. That is why most of Volkswagen cars come fully
equipped with essential parts and accessories. One of the excellent
interior features of a Volkswagen auto is the air conditioning and heat
system. This system makes your car’s interior conducive for driving or
long rides during very hot or very cold temperatures.
The Volkswagen A/C system works almost the same way as other auto a/c
system. Three major components work to keep the air in your cabin
comfortable: the evaporator, compressor and the condenser. Actual heat
dissipation occurs in the Volkswagen A/C condenser. Here the
refrigerant gas that absorbed the heat from the warm cabin air is
cooled as it transfers its heat to the condenser. The refrigerant then
goes back to the evaporator to absorb heat from the warm interior air.
