Committed to give every costumer the most pleasurable, most luxurious, and safest
ride, Volvo develops several features that could answer all these. Since the early
fifties, Volvo tries to give the total costumer satisfaction and value for money
to every car sales they made. With their pioneering development of safety cage
and their application of crumple zone to their vehicle, it is indeed a proof that
Volvo is serious in providing safety to their passengers. During the later years,
Volvo develops several additional technologies and innovations that once they
perfected, they incorporate it to each of their vehicle. These technologies and
innovations of course are concentrated to the safety and welfare of the Volvo
passengers. Side Impact Protection System (SIPS) and Whiplash Protection System
(WHIPS) are some of these.
However, like any other vehicles of the road, Volvo included standard safety
features and equipments. These include mirrors and seat belts. Lights whether
headlights, park lights, reverse lights, fog lights, and corner lights are also
part of these. All these have its own purpose. Headlights are used if there's
a need for road illumination especially during night or rainy season. Fog lights
are used during foggy conditions while reverse lights are helpful when moving
the vehicles in reverse. Corner lights on the other hand are used to signal your
direction to the other vehicles that you are making a turn.
Corner lights are lamps located on both side of the vehicle's front and rear
portion. When activated, they burn steady flashing and providing illumination.
Standard color is yellow but modifications can be made. In a sporty theme, clear
corner lights are available. Since Volvo does not offer sports vehicle, the standard
set and regulatory corner lights are available.
